The Answers You Need
ARE THE SHOWING ASSISTANTS LICENSED AGENTS?
Yes! The Showing Assistants are licensed agents from your same company in your market. They are private contractors hired by you, just like Uber. They are not employees of SHOWforME. Our app is simply an easy way to schedule and pay them for the services.
HOW DO I KNOW THEY WON'T STEAL MY CLIENT?
The Showing Assistants have agreed to the User End License Agreement which states that they are prohibited from working with or marketing to any client that they showed a home to through the SHOWforME application. And will forfeit any commission for said client for up to 1 year.
We recommend when you use a Showing Assistant, it's not wise to use the app for all showings with one client, or the very first time you are showing a client, at all.
DO I SCHEDULE THE SHOWINGS OR DOES THE SHOWING ASSISTANT?
In the spirit of efficiency you as the hiring agent needs to set up the showing. Please make sure to communicate with the showing assistant after they accept that you have confirmed the showing time with the listing agent. We don't want a showing assistant to show up at home and the seller is not expecting it.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE NOTIFICATION THAT SAYS "YOU ARE NOW ON DUTY"
This is an Android notification. If you keep getting the notification repeatedly just long press on the notification when it comes up and turn off just that notification...do not turn of all. Notifications are the primary way that you will learn about new showings so that you can accept them.
THE SHOW ASSISTANT APP IS RUNNING DOWN MY BATTERY! ARGGGG
Because of the GPS it can run down your battery quickly. There are a couple of different solutions. You can go into the Show Assistant application settings and turn on Power Save mode. This will help tremendously. You can also kill the application when you are not using it. You will still receive push notification when there is a new showing.
WHEN SHOULD I SET TO OFF-DUTY
You should only set the application to off duty when you do not want to receive any notifications for new showings. If you are set to Off Duty, the Hiring Agents will not be able to send you a Showing Request.
HOW DO I GET PAID?
When you sent up your Account on the Show for Me Assistant application you will be prompted to set up a Stripe Connect account that will allow you to be paid for your showings directly into your bank account. You will need to provide your banking routing number and account number. Your information is safe. We use the same banking solutions that Lyft and many other on-demand applications use also.
